A concrete floor usually tells the story of every scuff and spill it has lived through. We start by smoothing and repairing those marks, then build a new surface with epoxy that is clean, durable and modern. The result is a floor that supports your daily life without demanding attention.
Check out our process:
Assessment & Testing
We inspect for cracks, spaling, old coatings, oil staining, etc. Then we test for any moisture vapor issues and previous sealers. Then we confirm traffic loads and/or storage and chemical exposure.
Site Protection & Safety
We make sure all items are cleared from floor and adjacent surfaces. Then we mask walls, trims, and doors at their bases. Finally, we set up a ventilation plan.
Surface Protection
L3 will open the surface and remove old coatings by grinding or shot blasting followed by a thorough vacuuming to remove all dust. Cracks are filled and joint repair is completed before a final vacuum and tack.
Coating Application
We uniformly apply a primer coat first. Then the epoxy or similar coating is applied to the required thickness followed by decorative flakes if desired. Flakes, if used, are then scraped and vacuumed after cure and an abrasion/chemical resistant top coat sealer is applied.
Curing, Clean Up & Deliver
Once curing is complete, we remove any masking and protection, perform any final cleaning of work site and do a walk-thru discussing maintenance and acceptable loads.
